Gawain served as a squire in King Arthur's court when the enigmatic Green Knight suddenly entered the hall, proposing a perilous game with a valiant knight. While other warriors hesitated to uphold their king's honor, Gawain stood resolute. After being hastily knighted, he accepted the challenge, only to discover it was a cunning trick. Though he suffered defeat, the Green Knight spared his life, granting him a year's reprieve before facing the inevitable. During this time, Gawain embarked on a journey across the realm, gaining wisdom through trials, rescuing distressed maidens, and ultimately solving the Green Knight's riddle. This retelling is crafted by Sean Kilby and Jason Parker.
